Environmental protection concerns all of us

FIPP ensures its strength for innovation with the environmentally friendly use of polyethylene.

Where it is technically possible and permitted by law, we use recycled polyethylene. Our efforts begin directly at the beginning of the recycling process. Industrial waste is collected, regenerated and reused.

In particular, against the backdrop of the current climate issues, the recycling of polyethylene is especially advantageous for the environment, as this leads to a reduction of CO2-emissions.

We use innovative materials in areas of application, in which regenerate cannot be used. In this manner, we have been successful in reducing the amount of material used by means of thickness reduction.

Additionally, FIPP is the largest provider of biodegradable waste sacks in Europe. These are produced with modern materials such as bio-film made from corn or potato starch, which can be composted.
